Just a quick note before I get into the heart of this post.  I've started pulling down videos from my old account.  I've made them private so I don't loose the number of hits they had or the original date uploaded, but I figured why duplicate?  I want to drive more traffic to my new channel so I'm basically stealing my own hits. Which takes us to this...

I just happened to do a search for one of my own videos and came across a second posting of it.  While imitation may be the most sincere form of flattery, just up and reposting is not.  Now, I really appreciate that someone liked my movies enough to go and repost them, and I give them alot of credit for plugging my website and my channel, but I just don't get enough hits to be able to afford someone siphoning off a few hundred here or there.  Sure, sure, I don't make these for money so it's not like it's really hurting me, except that I would hope that I can grow my movies and productions to the point where someday someone would pay me for this or get partnered and spreading out hits over a ton of different channels and users doesn't help me.  I don't hold this person in any ill-will for reposting, and I'm sure I'll have to tackle this again some day, but I do put a ton of work into each and every single one of my movies and all I can get from them is credit for what I've done, so I'm going to hold on to that.  They're free, they can be added to favorites and embedded in pages and I think that's enough.  I just draw the line at having someone else's username attached to them.
