Well, I can’t hold it against them. Atomfilms posted their finalists today and it was definitive, I was not among them. I haven’t yet watched the films that did get in but it’s odd to see that there are only two categories this year and that there are so many live action movies. Where’s the love for animation, or in my case Supermarionation?
I can’t say I’m disappointed though. A little, yeah, but not totally. All the work I put into this was well worth it. I learned a lot and got some great experience and when I pursue the Potato Saga I won’t have a problem with rights and clearances due to getting my film in.
Now it’s time to start thinking about the next short…
