Super powers. Anyone? Well, neither do I, but that hasn’t stopped me on my current project. I’m now in production on a fan trailer for an upcoming superhero movie. I won’t give away the details quite yet, but I will tell you that the actually movie doesn’t exist yet, not at all. It’s a challenge trying to make a trailer for a movie where none of the footage has been shot and the story is under wraps, but it’s fun all the same.
I have officially entered total geekdom.
If this helps to build awareness about the film, maybe get the fan hype machine rolling a bit, that would be amazing. If not, no loss. This is a great exercise for me and something that I can turn around just a bit quicker than those other projects I’ve been battling. Revenge of the Spud took over a year to complete and while that’s fine, I’d like this one to be out by the end of the month. Most of the titles are made, the music has been chosen, and I’m shooting what little footage I need this weekend. Throw in a little CG magic and we’re golden. Watch for it toward the end of the month and updates about production in the coming weeks.
